Deuces Wild
Deuces Wild is yet another video poker game. It is probably the most popular video poker game that has an almost traditional place in bars, pubs, game centers and such. The game is typically played with small coins and is proven to be extremely addictive to casual gamblers. The goal of the game is trivial: you need to obtain a five card poker hand that wins. Your wins are described in the payout table that you can see on the machine (or, with online casinos, within the game itself). How to play Deuces Wild
Ranking of hands in poker gamesWins and losses are determined by comparing rankings of players' hands. The logic of rankings is simple and tends to stay the same in most poker games except for those where Jokers have some special values. The table below presents you the rankings in descending order of value:
Straight flush - a hand in which all cards are of the same suit and are consecutive. In ties, a straight flush with the highest value of the end of the straight wins. A straight flush that has Ace on its end is called a Royal flush.
Four of a kind - a hand that has 4 cards of the same value.
Full house - a combination of the three of a kind and a pair, that is, a set of 3 cards of the same value and a set of 2 cards of the same value. In ties, the 3 card hand set hand ranking wins.
Flush - all cards are of the same suit. In ties, the high card ranking wins. Straight - a combination of all consecutive cards. The straight can not wrap around. The highest straight wins. In ties the pot is split.
Three of a kind - a combination where three cards have the same face value. In ties, the highest set wins.
Two pairs - two sets each of two card of equal value. In ties, the hand that has a set with highest value wins.
Pair - a set of two cards of equal value.
High card - when a hand is none of the above it is ranked by its highest value card. Ties are broken by the second highest card.
